It was probably sheer dumb luck that nothing happened to him. Maybe some kind of dissonance from his snore cancelled out the effects of the explosion. Regardless, York remained his usual somewhat doofy self. No change in his past, no drastic personality shift, no nothing. A few things got scattered across the room, but that was it.
